It's not easy being green...
...but we doubtless have more than 49 shades of it in the garden at any time and especially after all the rain we've had over winter.
The main image is a gorgeous and graceful cashmeriana about 25 feet tall.
In extras...a (non) green cabbage growing happily in our richly composted garden, alongside broccoli that will do nicely with dinner tonight.
In another part of the garden is this old horse-dawn plough from many decades ago when Chinese folk tended this soil working long and steadfast hours producing greens for themselves and for a living and then there are some greens in the folly this old woman is presently working on in the luxury of time and choice in her air-conditioned stitching cave.
