Bike show

A nice lazy day today. We're getting good at them! We popped to the library this morning so pheebs could complete week 4 of her reading challenge. We bumped into some of her school friends there and ended up staying awhile. On the way home we noticed lots of motorbikes in the village and a sign saying bike show. Hmm we didn't know about this...also when we got home G&G we're cutting the front lawn! Result!

We had some lunch and then we all walked down to the newly discovered bike show. We admired all the bikes of different shapes and sizes (I especially liked this 3 person bike. Great to put the kids on the back!), had a cider, listened to the live music and enjoyed the community atmosphere.

This evening I made a chicken, bacon and leek pie from scratch. James has been craving one since he saw mine in the pub on Wednesday and I thought I would treat him. It was totally delicious and not a crumb was left.
