To Burnley's Turf Moor today to see Burnley lose 0-1 to West Bromwich Albion. This huge composite flag was billowing in the strong wind outside the ground, which has a lovely view of the surrounding countryside.

It was an interesting game. West Brom's Welsh international, Hal Robson-Kanu, came on as a second half substitute, scored the only goal and then was sent off for elbowing a Burnley player, all within about 20 minutes. He is only the fourth player to come on as a sub, score and be sent off in the same Premier League game, and the first since Ivan Klasnic for Bolton in October 2010. Not superlative.
