The former dean talked about her current corn addiction last week. Must have triggered a subconscious emotional response; I've been eating corn on the cob for tea with episodes of Bake Off. The mother used to have corn bought from the night market for me every Friday. I head home every day this week looking forward to my corn. ... Never had cornbread before, should remedy that while the corn obsession lasts.
