More Lotus

Exciting times ahead with work: we're planning to visit Kelantan for work for a few days next month. Quite excited as I have no idea of what to expect there, food would be different, dialect of Malay that would sound Greek to me and a cultural and religious homogeneity that I'm eager to experience. We'd be going there to expose students to small / village industry and entrepreneurial issues while doing some CSR work. I've a feeling the ladies on this trip intend to come back with bags full of batik fabric. A dip in the ocean might be nice too...

It's interesting that a pretty small country has so much cultural variety that a common language can be transmuted to an extent that it becomes unrecognisable.
