Nicky and her Nikon

Colourful heather

Finally I did my packing today, and when I went out to the shops I stopped off at that same spot again to get some more heather shots for Flower Friday - I drive straight past it so it was on my way. I felt sad taking Murdoch to the kennels but he went bounding in without so much as a backward glance!

Strange weather today - glorious sunshine this morning, but when I took Murdoch to the kennels after lunch we had quite a storm with lightning and rain.

Luke arrives from Paris late tonight, and then we leave home early tomorrow morning for our daytime flight to Nairobi. If I don't get a shot at the airport I don't know what I will blip tomorrow. I also know that the wifi at the camps we are staying at is non existent unless you go to the main office/reception area, so I hope I am able to upload a daily image. I doubt there will be much time for journals but I will try.

We will miss Adam terribly - the first family holiday where one of our family is missing. He only finishes his lab research job in September so was unable to come. He gets weekends off so today he is driving to Paris with a few friends - another sleepless night for me worrying that he will remember to drive on the right side of the road (it's his first time driving abroad).
