Skates

I went to the park today and took lots of pics (for me, that means over 600) I was trying to get a particular picture but didn't quite get it.. I had a lot of pics to choose from but I chose this one because the focus is on the ice slivers that kicked up when this skater ws going around a corner.

It was just amazing to watch the people skating. I put a few other pics on flickr. The Chinese people (particularly older people) have a turn for perfection. They love to do things perfectly. I can't remember what other people do on an open air skating rink but at this one, they all wear the long speed skates. They all aim for the long flowing gliding strides used by speed skaters. They are magnificent. They REALLY are poetry in motion. So smooth and clean in their actions.. Most of the people on the ice would be between 55 and 70 which is another amazing thing.
