Silverstream Retreat

Trev and I have been in the Hutt Valley near Wellington for a wedding. Two back blips to show Wednesday  and Thursday.
This is what the former WW2 hospital looks like now. Very modern with still lots to do but getting there. It would be lovely there in the summer with the gardens and bbq tables etc.
Most of the motel units and big halls and rooms have been redone using the exposed rafters, the stone work retained, all giving a rustic woodsy chalet look to the buildings. There are no dining facilities as such with lunches and dinners only if you attending a function with a group. However they do breakfasts for motel guests.
Extras show a couple of relics from the past.
