Junior Bluebirds (4 in all!)

We had my cousin Jim and his wife Beth to dinner tonight. As we came in from our aperitif on the porch it was getting dark on the cloudy evening. We saw four young Eastern Bluebirds at the birdbath and perches we had just put up yesterday outside the kitchen (no adults were around). They stayed for barely 90 seconds, moving constantly.  I fired off 58 shots through the broad window, of which only a half-dozen were passable--including these two (don't miss the extra).  The vivid blues are as they appeared in the originals (not intensified  in  Photoshop)--perhaps that's a result of the darkness.

Kate and Tom left early in the morning--they missed the bluebirds :(
