Broad-tailed Hummingbird

This is Tuesday's blip...

We didn't see any hummingbirds the first day we were here so we thought maybe they had already moved on.  I hung the feeder anyway and it didn't take them long to show up.  I've only seen females so far but possibly some of them are juveniles.  There are lots of other birds that we didn't see earlier in the summer so I'm hoping to be able to add several to my journal in the next few days.  I've had Mountain Chickadees land in my hand for sunflower seeds today too.  I tried getting photos but I just couldn't manage the camera in one hand.  I don't know how Kevin does it!!  I decided to give up and just enjoy the experience. :-)
