The Grot
The Grot is a grade II listed building, built in 1668 to provide a window to frame and enjoy the view of Rydal beck waterfall.
It became part of the Picturesque movement ( 1780-1830 ).
In the 'extra' you can see the formal garden at Rydal Hall, and, if you've got your specs on Ros, Tam and Chloe.
