Having lunch in a canal side pub. Something of a theme this holiday and the children are beginning to doubt if we are even moving from the spot as all they see is pictures of us eating and drinking. We haven't covered very many miles as I really don't see the point. I'm much happier to stop and mooch around whenever we stumble upon an interesting looking town or village (as long as it has a pub). Fewer miles but more smiles.
