Rainbow over Grasmere.

After a night of heavy rain there were signs of brightness by 8 o'clock. I drove to White Moss and set off along the riverside path but didn't get far before meeting a group of Japanese tourists who had turned back because it was too wet. I continued on and paddled through the puddles. Then over the bridge, up through the woods and along Loughrigg Terrace.

On the way back something made me glance behind and I noticed a rainbow which improved over the next few minutes. 

The rain caught up with me before I got to the car but it's cleared to give a sunny afternoon.
