Plunging Into the Pit

We had a family reunion today in Reed City, Michigan. It was a beautiful day, but we only had two swimmers. But, we did have 3 jumpers.

Grandson Merrick, son Jeff, and niece Sophie were the daring ones. A short run for speed, a jump into thin air...followed by a soft landing in the sand.

My favorite part? Sophie's hair as it flies upward.

I've done this in the past, and it is SOOO much fun. But today...hey...somebody had to take the pictures.
