Higger Tor

We've been out with the Sunday crowds today as we have Andrew staying with us.  We ended up at Higger Tor in the northern Peak District which is just above Hathersage.  We took a fairly circuitous route as we avoided traffic building up around Wortley but it was a fantastic journey and the weather has been lovely.  Consequently there were people everywhere.  On the way home we stopped at the Riverside Cafe which has lots of bird feeders hanging outside the window among the trees, so we enjoyed their antics as we had our afternoon tea.  The heather is out in all its glory at the moment, so this photo is for my brother who reads this blog.
