Lake Windermere

Our walk today included climbing to the top of Wansfell Pike, only 3 out of 5 on the difficulty scale but the walk was longer than billed, 8 miles. When we drove to Ambleside the weather wasn't at all promising but we were rewarded with a very pleasant day. This is the view from the Pike looking down to Lake Windermere.
