Armchair Athlete #London2017

Only a couple of weeks previously, Miss C was performing in her own sports event at the school. Now, having borne witness to some of the earlier London 2017 events in person, it was time for a relaxing session watching Mo's and Usain's last events. 

It was great to see those final performances, albeit if the outcome wasn't what either would have wanted. Farah carried away a silver after a startling 5k against the Ethiopian racer Edris, whilst Bolt succumbed to an injury - looked like a hamstring and failed to finish for Jamaica. Meanwhile, TeamGB triumphed with a gold in the same race. Oh what a night rang round the stadium, how apt!

Here we are on day 1 of the summer hols, in the South Downs and the sun has been shining.
