Chicken majboos

This is the most popular food here in Kuwait. There were a few sultanas so a bit of sweetness but the chicken was simple in flavour. Accompanied with fresh bread a bit like naan and salad. Healthy and cheap. And enough leftover rice.... It was a local restaurant in the old souk. So nice to see a little bit of traditional Kuwait for there isn't much left after Saddam's visit.

There were lots of perfume and home fragrance shops, clothes, jewellery, household items and a fresh food market too.

I'll be going back.
