Covered in Hover Flies

Very domestic sort of day today, reconnecting with the garden, thinking how to down size the whole thing, cutting grass and harvesting apples. Butterflies, bees and hoverflies were in abundance but nowhere more so than on the flower heads of the Globe Artichokes!
