Last but one day in Bodensee with our German family of Margit, Uwe und Michael. We strolled into Uberlingen, then on to what is often described as the most beautiful church in the world at Birnau (I know, you may have other candidates for this) before dinner & the amazing fireworks of Konstanz.

So this holiday we have travelled many miles, eaten far too much food, drunk far too much schnapps, met old and new friends and seen some amazing sights, including opera, tree-top walks and three firework displays. What a wonderful time in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. So thank you to Margit, Uwe, Michael, Uli, Leoni, Julia, Timm, Natalie, Kati, Sara, Marcel, Julia, David, the little one, Aunt Sophie and of course Carmen. Tomorrow …. London.
