Today's the day ....................... to put on a play

A quick drive up to Moniaive this afternoon to see a performance of a new play 'The Sea Maidens'  by Gerry Griffin.

The play has been running since Wednesday, finishing tomorrow and has played to full houses every night.  It was absolutely brilliant - and I'm not just saying that because our lovely Anna was one of the actors.  It was such a good story about the happenings on an unnamed Scottish island.  The audio-visual effects transformed the small stage into a very believable setting - and the entire cast performed without a hitch. 

This is Anna looking very realistic in the role of Heather Donald - a 49-year old grandmother.....................
