Back blip
We had a trip pre-arranged to go over to Grouse Mountain and the Capilano Suspension Bridge today. The weather was beautiful and we saw the orphaned bears and a most amusing / scary lumberjack show on the mountain.
The suspension bridge area was busy and an interesting experience. I used to be a bit scared of heights, but the need to see things and curiosity seem to override those feelings these days.
In the early evening we went to the Harbour Centre to get 360 degree views of the city. I was spoilt for choice on this one and picked a view to the south east that includes Mount Baker in the distance. It is situated about 140 miles away in Washington State.
We ate at an Italian restaurant near Canada Place, before heading back to the hotel. The city centre feels very comfortable and safe to wander round.
