Crocosmia

A day round home followed by a very pleasant evening meeting up with friends.  I worked with I about 20 years ago and have met periodically since.  Our last previous meeting was sadly the funeral of a colleague and friend in November.

So tonight meeting with I, J J and Kanyl was a much happier occasion.  The evening was made even better by the postman delivering earlier in the day a voucher for 40% of a meal at the pub we were going to for a party of 6 or less.   How is that for serendipity?

The blip is of a Crocosmia (Montbretia) in the garden, which variety it is I am afraid I don't know.
