I guess that's why they call it the blues...
I grew these from a little thing. It wasn't a bulb and it wasn't a seed.
It was like a fossil. I'm quite delighted with them. I've had red ones, and purple ones too. But I think these are my favourite.
The cycle today on the way in was lovely. I left at 7.55 and I was there when it was 8.25. Which included 5 minutes standing outside, trying to switch my audio book off, and stop the cycling monitor.
On the way back tho, oh, my heavens, it was bad. The wind was gusting up to 20mph. The cycle to the bike path took me 9 minutes. A mile normally takes me 7 tops. The bike path is open to the elements, apart from the tree tunnel, and so I was pedaling hard, but not getting anywhere.
At inclines I had to get off and walk, i just had no energy .
I made it home after 45 minutes. Typically my cycle takes 30 minutes or just under.
So I collapsed in a chair and demanded tea.
And he brought it. He spoils me, and I know it. And I totally adore him for it.
I have recovered now..... and I will cycle again tomorrow.
