inspired by the first frost

I was up early this morning to see Adrian off on the early train to Glasgow. We had to scrape the frost off the windscreen.

When I came back, I went for my morning walk. The early morning sun had not quite had a chance to melt the delicate ground frost. Half an hour later and I would have missed it.

It made the early start worthwhile.
