Dunkirk

G,E and I went to the cinema to see Dunkirk. It is a very powerful film which I thought was very well done, not overdoing the action instead focusing on key events and looking at a few different characters rather than just one main character. I felt this was important as events at Dunkirk affected so many. How brave the civilians were to take their little boats across the Channel to ferry the soldiers home. A turning point in the war. Hard to watch at times.
Don't usually but sweets but pushed the boat out tonight.
