Roses round the door

This is across the road from my house. I love the roses round the door and it reminds me of a series of books I read many years ago by the Scottish author Christine Marion Fraser. She wrote a series of novels about life on a fictitious Scottish Hebridean island . Rhanna was the first of seven in the series. I still have them in the attic.
