Jump in lads!

Well. It started ok. Checked out in Cologne, train back to the airport to collect hire car. Bitch from hell on hire car desk. Then in the garage I was convinced the handbrake was still on and after a bit realised it was just that the brakes were so much better than my own car. Jerked out of the underground car park to get a sat nav signal. Then the biggest case of the sweats as we couldn't get the sat nav to work, it was in German and we were so stressed we couldn't concentrate on getting the air con on. Eventually...it all came together, we got to Heidelberg and after a little ring-a-roses finding the hotel parking poured ourselves across the road for food and beer. Saw the Neckar river in all its loveliness later. Just one night here.
