Bad Year For The Roses!

We took a trip through to see Wee Maw and Paw in God's Country (take note Louise Carr), to find out that Wee Maw was heading out for a Ladies Lunch date.

"Don't worry Paw", says Mrs B, "how about I make you a roll on sausage and a cup of tea for lunch, whilst there's athletics on BBC2 and Chelsea vs Arsenal on BTSport?"

The Cheshire Cat grin that spread across his face was answer enough :-))

No rain until after 3pm said the forecast, so when we returned home well before that to a clothesline that was wetter than it was put out Mrs B was mightily pissed peeved off!

Another appalling day of weather in a summer where even the roses aren't getting a chance to bloom. So what better way to end the weekend than with a trip to Sicily with a bottle of red for Sunday Foreign Language Cinema Night!
