Kiki and Dolly

Kiki seems to be feeling a bit better today, which is a massive relief, she was very unwell yesterday! We got all of her morning meds into her and some critical care, then let her have a run on the bed! She actually slept in with us until about 1.30am, when I woke up and moved her back through to Hubert! We kept a good eye on her this morning and Lewis brought her exactly 20 pieces of food, so we could see what she ate! She ran around for a while before attempting the food, a few nibbles, I gave her a few rolled peas when she got fed up! More critical care a bit later, she likes the taste but is not keen on it being syringed! Her appetite this evening has been really good after her evening meds and critical care! She came up to see me on the couch and took more critical care straight from the syringe, I just pushed it out and she lapped it up, she was really hungry for it! She has eaten a little of her regular food this evening and some raisins, much better than yesterday! I'm now cautiously optimistic, although I will wait until we are able to withdraw some of the supportive meds before I'll really feel she is over this! I liked this picture because she looks a bit suspicious here, not surprising after all the poking and priding she's had the last few days!
