Darter.  ... I think.

I had taken some nice pics of Campanula lasiocarpa and considered it was job done .... and then this chap or more likely chappess, landed right by where I was taking pictures.  About turn.   The flowers will still be there tomorrow but while I quite often see Darters and Dragonflies in the garden, they rarely oblige by posing for me!  Maybe a little serendipity here as only yesterday I asked Tracym how she manages to catch images of them.  The answer "The place I go to has so many flying around but they seem to land in front of you like they want their photo taken." :-)

Jamie and I had a quieter day after yesterdays excitement.  We did pop over to see the grandparents and Uncle Dom who is visiting.  The hand cycle was demonstrated to them while we were there and everyone enjoyed a helping from the latest batch of Jamie's Fruits of the Forest Ice Cream.
