In Bloom

..... opening the Festival - good light & sound projection but experience slightly marred by lack of a stewarding at start to make it clear you didn't need to queue to get into gardens. 

Best comment of night (prior to actual start) "ooh look,  that traffic light has gone green"

Favourite bit for me was tartan and tattoo section - perhaps I'm turning into grumpy Edinburgh matron !
