Pugh, Pugh, Barney, McGrew.....
Day 5 of the Scottish Six Days Orienteering Festival and it was more my kind of forest today at Glen Feardar. I managed to break in to a run a couple of times and enjoyed the outing.
After the event, we called in to a cafe in Ballater and then said our goodbyes to the Ballater Smiths who have kindly welcomed us each evening to make use of their broadband to upload the thousands of photos of orienteers I have taken through the week. They were busy making their contribution to the town's Scarecrow Festival - a beekeeper. The old hive they had pulled out as a prop attracted a swarm of bees!
Lindsay told us about the Fire Service's contribution to the Festival so en route to Garden Cottage we paused to Blip Trump Ton!
