Thoughts

I managed to finish my course today at Creag Coinnich near Braemar , in 31st position, but my knees held out and my mind was more or less engaged throughout the course so I feel in a better place.  I wish I had taken the compact camera with me as the climb to the start took us almost to the top of the mountain and we had spectacular views all around in glorious sunshine.

After my run I grabbed a sandwich and signed out in to the area to take some photos of incoming runners.  A competitor was injured out in the forest and the air ambulance was called.  No news has come through yet so we can only hope that all is okay.
