ROCK ON

James grew out of his half size electric guitar a while back but I have hung on to buy him a new one. In the past fortnight at school he has been enthused by a music/performing arts teacher who seems to have switched James on to practising and to performing.

So today we went to get a guitar and an amp.

Les Paul Epiphone Junior. Cherry Red mahogony. Sweet tone to it. Amp is a Spider Live 6, with a variety of features. It rocks.

Best bit - I have instructed James that next time we are disturbed by next door, James is to face the amp towards the wall and whack it up to 11 and belt out the heaviest, grungiest riffs he knows, repeatedly.
