Watersmeet in Drizzle

Another windy drizzly day so we decided to postpone the cycle ride and try Arlington Court and Lynton/Lynmouth instead.  Arlington Court was fascinating, Lynton/Lynmouth not at their best in the drippy weather so we went to Watersmeet thinking waterfalls might be better for a wet day .... 

Certainly picturesque but quite grey and very popular so no I did my best off one of the bridges. 

Gill's mum is ok in the hospital and called us this morning to say her angiogram was set for later in the day,  sadly, it was put off until tomorrow as she had taken one of her many drugs which conflicts with the dye and the effect it might have on her kidneys.  Better to find out before the dye was injected I suppose!  So - 2nd attempt tomorrow. At least she is in a good place and at much less risk of falling and picking up another injury.  Much to and fro with text messages and Whatsapp keeping the rest of the family informed!
