Negative space.

In the online course I'm working through, today's photo was to use negative space.  Air quality is very poor today, smokey and hot outside, so I am working inside.  I ended up working on focus and learned several new techniques, my camera manual is now my friend and getting worn looking. I used my new shutter release, locked up mirror and used the live view.  I'm happy with my shots and choose this one as it did have some negative space.  I also included one other in the Extra photos.
