Waterlily.

Today I did not have the luxury of playing with photography all day.  I had several appointments to take care of.  We are having unusually hot weather here, forecast for 107 degrees today and tomorrow.  Very windy which is also unusual, and lots of smoke causing a haze.  The news reports indicate the smoke is from fires in British Columbia, Canada.

This shot of a waterlily in my pond, early this morning with the sun peaking through the leaves.  A Year With My Camera class has a 30 days of composition this month and today's was framing.  I tried to incorporate that into my thinking composing this shot.
