Changing light
All the weather forecasts said sunshine and showers and this morning they were right. I headed off to a local NT property, Packwood House (I make full use of my membership).
It was a photographer's dream. The sky was a mixture of pure blue and seriously ominous black. One minute the plants were sparkling: the next it looked threatening.
It wasn't too busy. I avoided the rain. I was able to walk a bit, sit and appreciate, walk a bit more, and just enjoy.
Choosing my blip wasn't easy. My extra is to try to capture the strange blend of weather conditions. My main photo is of the gateway and approach to the yew trees which symbolise The Sermon on the Mount.
It's certainly an unusual Summer.
