Naked....

We had high winds last night, which blew all the blooms off of my poor clematis! The center parts are all that's left now and they look a bit naked without the surrounding purple petals!
Went to see my doctor this morning for my yearly "medicare wellness check", where I also asked her to look at my elbow. It's been swollen for the past 3 weeks & initially had some redness and warmth present too; had someone I knew had these symptoms and asked if they should go to a walk-in clinic to have it checked, I'd have said "yes"---but in typical nurse fashion I didn't do that; I iced it, took an anti-inflammatory and kept an eye on it until this visit. Didn't know if I'd been bitten by something when I was at my sister's cottage or if I'd developed bursitis, or if it was something else entirely.....well, when you have your "wellness check" it doesn't cover any other issues (like asking her to look at my elbow); that's an extra charge which medicare may not cover. However, she very nicely didn't charge me extra for it ("professional courtesy"), the x-ray was fine & so were my blood tests.    "Bursitis" diagnosed.......this aging stuff's not for sissies!! :))
