Silly with sauerkraut & some cuc sushi

Seems to be a day for fizziness.
I bought a bottle of kombucha today (previously made my own, but then let the mother dry out). I enthusiastically poured out half a glassful and then read on the label that the amount was equivalent to a double daily dose, so I poured some back. The liquid was so alive that it reacted like champagne and a quarter of the bottle spilled out...Later on, I opened a new jar of bought sauerkraut (again, I usually do my own but I love this brand). It literally bubbled up the sides of the jar, and all over kitchen counter. That's proper fermentation for you.

Made this salad with sauerkraut and various varieties of tomato that family/friends/neighbours have generously shared with me. I've been salivating over the cucumber in yesterday's veg box ever since I saw it, so I added them to my supper plate, too. Scooped out the centres and stuffed them with avocado, cumin and sun-dried tomatoes, before cutting into 'sushi' rolls. How greedy am I?
