Blippin' awful weather.

Just back from a weekend in Fife which was very wet and windy. We visited Dunfermline, Scotland's former capital.

It wasn't looking its best. The abbey is impressive but some of the older buildings in the centre are boarded up - not a good sign.

I got into an altercation with a security man in the Kingsgate Shopping Mall for taking a photo of a nice stained glass window.

"Who are you working for?" said he.
It's one of those times when you think later on about all the smart replies you could have given e.g. The CIA, Woolworths or better still Your Future Employers Mate!
Instead, pathetically, I wheedled:"I'm on holiday."

On the way home there were, unbelievably, some drivers not using headlights in very poor conditions (see above).
