Preparations

The preparations are well underway for the annual summer BBQ. Last year we were rather unlucky with the weather, the rain emptied the skies on us. This year we seem to be more fortunate, and though we had a little light rain it was mainly dry if a little cool, actually in the latter part of the evening it was definitely cold.

As usual Cosmo was "entertained" by the children. I think she thought the entertainment was a bit overwhelming at times as I saw her pursued by children looking for somewhere to hide out of reach, but the garden offers few places where she can hide. It is a good job she is very patient and tolerant.

Of course Cosmo was always on hand if somebody dropped a sausage, or in one instance an entire burger. That was an unexpected gift from heaven as far as she was concerned. One thing was certain, by the time everybody left Cosmo was well fed, entertained, and ready for a sleep.
