Wall Lizard (maybe)
Today me and Dad left Mum at home again and drove to Bodmin Moor. We'd never been to a moor before, but it wasn't too exciting, mostly short grass interspersed with rocks. There were a few horses, sheep and cows wandering around though. We found a few of what we think are cotton plants, too, with white fluffy bits which feel like hair or wool. We climed up a big rocky hill called Roughtor, which is the second highest point in Cornwall, the highest being Brown Willy, which we could see from the top. We ate lunch at the top of a large pile of rocks, and then had a walk around for a bit, but it was rather dull. We saw this brown lizard (not sure what sort it is but from my 30 seconds of googling I think it is probably a wall lizard) and a skipper, but there was very little other wildlife. When we got home, we persuaded Mum to come for a drive, but it started raining really had once we left, so we didn't see much.
