Sintra

Another early start today to catch the train to the lovely town of Sintra.

Sintra is a very historical and royal town, filled with manor houses, luxurious gardens and spectacular palaces, the most famous of which being Pena Palace which is today's blip.

As you can see for the first time since we arrived, there were clouds today and even a little rain but that didn't stop us exploring the town and enjoying the sights.

Pena Palace is far more incredible than this picture would let on but due to the surroundings and it being at the top of a very steep hill it is somewhat challenging to capture its beauty in a single photo.

Only two full days left here in Lisbon, but lots more exploring to fit in.
