The Lightness of Being

Had a major day of cleaning out the house. Should have done it a long time ago, but sometimes it's really hard to throw away such things as my children's artwork (almost two year's worth!). I filtered through all of the kids' and my clothing and came up with four bags full. Went through the bathrooms and cleared out all the hand lotions and bubble baths and medicines I haven't used in two years or so. Cleaned out and backed up my hard drive, which actually, my sweetheart did, because I trust him more than myself to do it right. Sifted through the children's toys and added to the discard pile those things that just don't meet their age appropriateness. Purging is great!!

Meanwhile, my sweetheart goes shopping and buys a new kite for himself. After this hard day's work we went up to Victoria Park and tried it out.

What a wonderful day.
