Osprey hunting

On Friday - the last day - I was able to take another paddle in the kayak - and this osprey followed along from tree to tree.  It really seemed as if I was interesting to him - tho actually it was probably my imagination.  

We saw him (or her) catching fish in the canal behind the house regularly - but on this trip I was able to get close while he was perched.  I got several really nice closeups and love the detail in the shots.

The extra is an egret posed so nicely and reflected in the dark water.
