Red Squirrel at Formby

Yesterday I spent a lovely day with John39 and his lovely wife Hazel. We had a walk around Formby including the Asparagus Trail (extra is a photo of them by a sculpture of an asparagus worker).

We also saw a huge number of burnet moths (extra)  on ragwort and also saw red squirrels which was a real treat. The sun shone too!

In the evening I stood in for a gig with a different band near Ormskirk which was enjoyable as well as being challenging!
