Furling the flag

All this weekend there has been a multi period event with living history and demonstrations from Medieval to World War II at Whittington Castle.

We went for the last part of the afternoon and there were some interesting sights and it was the first time that I'd seen re-enactors from the Spanish Civil War. It was also good to see a lot of young people dressed up and taking part.

The blip is of the flag being furled as this group packed up. They were a company supposed to be from Indiana in the American War of Independence.
