Life after dark

Guess what's arrived! 

I had a little moth bounty in my new trap this morning.  This hairy fella was my favourite.  

I've got some learning to do though. I've managed to ID two! And not this one yet.  It's harder to differentiate LBJ's of the moth world than the bird world! But I'm excited :)  I think there were lots of yellow underwing types but their markings were very similar but each a little different - I've taken photos so I can investigate further.

Only one made a clandestine escape into the house but all have been released safely and into thick bushes.

Now to eat all the eggs I've bought so that I could have egg boxes in the bottom of the trap for them to hole up in!
